Alanna Kelly

Alanna Kelly is a multi-skilled journalist for Glacier Media who enjoys digging for stories that matter to all 小蓝视频 residents.

Kelly is originally born and raised in Toronto, where she started her career in sports journalism at Sportsnet and moved on to crime and investigative journalism at CityNews. She previously worked as a multi-skilled journalist and weekend anchor for CTV News Vancouver Island.

She made headlines covering Wet'suwet'en protests at the 小蓝视频 legislature building, to headless sea lions washing up on shores, to covering the manhunt for Bryer Schmegelsky and Kam McLeod, to Staqeya, the lone wolf of Discovery Island.

Before that, Kelly worked in Kelowna for two years as a multi-platform reporter covering breaking news, crime and wildfires.

She holds a Master of Journalism from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in fine arts and communications from the University of Windsor.

Digital is where Kelly's passion lies. She strives to tell unique stories with visually compelling elements to push journalism forward.

She quickly fell in love with the West Coast and is proud to call Vancouver her home.
