'A Celebration of Life for our dear mother and friend to many, Pauline Nicholson, will be held Friday, Oct. 28th, at the Squamish Funeral Chapel, 40440 Tantalus Road,  from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. '

There will be a Celebration of Life and John's shop in the Spring of 2023, and the exact times & dates will be posted online later. 

'We will forever cherish his curiosity, foul language and humour.'

After a short illness, Bent passed away peacefully on the morning of Oct. 2 in Squamish, СÀ¶ÊÓƵ, his home of over 60 years. Bent was born in Aalborg, Denmark, on Aug. 8, 1928, to Einar and Valborg Mortensen.

11-year-old Matthew Lowenberger put his little brother on his shoulders to appear bigger after a mother bear and cub appeared just ahead of them on a trail. 

91-year-old Gerry Cotter on what the Canadian Air Force taught him and living life well.

There will be a celebration of life at the Squamish Golf Club on Saturday, Oct. 15th at 2 p.m.

The Downtown Holiday Parade will take place on Dec. 3.
